Predictor Description

Ever wonder how a stock reacts after experiencing a certain trend? Have you ever noticed that the stock seems to have a lot of trends that last for three to seven days? How has that stock typically reacted after a three-day trend?

The Predictor add-in is a trend analysis tool that can easily answer these questions. Set time parameters and choose a company to analyze using Downloader. Then select a trend type and bin count and Predictor will do the rest.

First Predictor shows you a histogram of all of the different trend lengths the stock has experienced over the period of interest. Then after analyzing the histogram, you tell Predictor exactly which trends you are interested in researching. It will respond by telling you all of the trends which follow each of the ones you chose. It also shows you the average percent gain (or loss) for each following trend length and gives you an indication of which of these trend lengths were the most successful.
